In one of the bigger moves of the summer transfer window in Europe, legendary center back Sergio Ramos has a new home. Indeed, the veteran defender is making the move from La Liga to Ligue 1.
This week, Paris Saint-Germain confirmed that they've reached an agreement with Ramos on a free transfer to a two-year deal. Make no mistake about it, this is a big-time get for the French giants.

Ramos was with Real Madrid from 2005-2021, winning five La Liga titles, four Champions Leagues and so much more. The former Madrid captain will go down as one of the best players to ever suit up for Los Blancos.
While suiting up for a different team is going to be strange for Ramos, it was simply time for him to move on and seek a new challenge. Madrid announced earlier this year they wouldn't be giving him a new contract, which folks expected. The Spanish side is trying to rebuild and get back to a top level too.
For PSG, Ramos will provide them with a CB that has loads of experience in monster showdowns. Ramos is also a fine finisher in the box, as he scored countless stunning goals for Real Madrid in pressure situations.
Now, Ramos is ready to try and help PSG win its first-ever Champions League. That of course won't be an easy task, but he'll attack things head on. PSG fans should be fired up over this move. Ramos is a fantastic signing.
