Although it wasn't for an English Premier League match, Liverpool was back at Anfield on Friday for a friendly against Blackburn.
With the Reds getting ready to return to league play next weekend for the Merseyside Derby, this was a tune-up match to help get them ready to close out the season. So, how did LFC do? As you might have expected, they picked up right where they left off.

Indeed, it was a 6-0 win for Liverpool on Friday. As his been the case so many times this campaign, Sadio Mane opened the scoring for the Reds to kickstart a big-time win.
Now, the team's focus will shift to next Sunday's match with Everton. Remember, Liverpool can grab the league title with a win and an Arsenal victory over Manchester City. The championship is coming, LFC fans. The long wait is about to come to an end.
