After another full weekend of games, and still two more matches to be played on Monday night, the English Premier League has just about wrapped up Matchday 10. Thus far, it's been an unpredictable season, with several teams in the hunt for the English Premier League title.
Here at Signables, our fans know we've partnered with Tottenham, Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea. So, how are our clubs performing thus far this campaign? We take a look below.
Tottenham stands at the top of the English Premier League Table
It surely has been an incredible turnaround for Tottenham Hotspur this season. After finishing in sixth place of the English Premier League standings last year, Spurs are currently in first place with 21 points. They're ahead of Liverpool because of their goal differential.
In its last five games, Tottenham has four wins and one draw, which came in the 0-0 affair with Chelsea on Sunday night. Behind the brilliant play of Harry Kane, Heung-Min Son and others, THFC really is looking like a championship-contending team.
Liverpool still has high hopes of winning back-to-back EPL titles
After winning the title for the first time in 30 years, can Liverpool FC lift the trophy once again? LFC is tied with Tottenham in points at the top of the table, but they sit in second place because of the goal differential. Regardless, Liverpool has been impressive this year and they've managed to put themselves in a championship position despite so many injuries.
Virgil van Dijk is out for the season, while basically every other playmaker on defense is banged up. Jurgen Klopp has had to get creative with his lineup, but Liverpool has won three of its last five games and drawn twice. This team will be one to watch in the spring when teams are competing for the title.
Frank Lampard has Chelsea in the hunt to win the title
Just live Liverpool, Chelsea FC has won three of its last five matches, with two draws also in that span. On Sunday night, the Blues battled it out with Tottenham to a tough 0-0 tie. Both clubs fought with all their power, but couldn't get the three points.
Regardless, Chelsea is in a great position to potentially win the English Premier League crown, as Frank Lampard's men currently stand in third place of the table with their 19 points. The additions of Timo Werner, Thiago Silva, Edouard Mendy and others have made a huge difference this campaign. Can they power the team to glory?
Manchester City sits in 10th place of the EPL standings
In a major surprise, it's been a bit of a down year for Manchester City, a club which has won two of the last three English Premier League titles. Uncharacteristically, defense has been an issue for Pep Guardiola's squad this season. Because of those struggles, city indeed sits in 10th place with 15 points.
However, there's still plenty of time for Guardiola's group to turn things around to not only capture a Champions League spot, but also push for another title as well. It'll take plenty of work, but you'd be foolish to count this club out. Plus, their confidence is riding high after beating Burnley 5-0 over the weekend.
Arsenal's struggles continue to start off the English Premier League season
After Matchday 10, Arsenal sits in 14th place of the table with only 13 points, Their goal differential is a concerning -2 as well. Gunners fans across the world had high hopes for the team this season, but they've struggled both on offense and defense.
Similar to City, there's still plenty of season left to get things back on track. It will be on Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette, Willian and the other stars to help get that movement going.
