"Diogo came on, played his natural football, tried to defend the way we defend and he's only on about 20 percent of information for what we do exactly," Klopp said after the victory. "We had team meetings to talk about it, but it will take time.
"Today he had like 60 or 70 minutes time to watch how Sadio (Mane) is doing it and he came on the pitch and played incredibly well. He scored a super goal, nice first game at Anfield. So he will never forget that and I will never forget it, so a cool start."
The Liverpool news just keeps getting better for Klopp. Jota was able to come on late in the game and made an immediate impact. That will only continue as the Liverpool schedule gets into the heart of the English Premier League season.
As for the Gunners, the Arsenal schedule won't get much easier for them moving forward, as they hope to rise in the English Premier League table. Liverpool is off to a perfect 3-0 to start the year. Will the Reds win another English Premier League title? Things are looking good for them early on this campaign.
