Chelsea fans can't forget the potential Christian Pulisic has shown in his first year

For American midfielder Christian Pulisic, his intro campaign in the English Premier League hasn't gone exactly as planned. In addition to play being suspended right now, he faced adversity in early January after suffering a 'freak' injury in practice.
He hasn't played since, but recently came out and said he's back close to 100 percent and will be good to go once play resumes. And while we're all waiting for Chelsea to get back on the pitch, Blues fans must remember how much Pulisic had grown in the winter.
To start the season, he failed to find regular playing time with his teammates. It sure had to be frustrating for the Pennsylvania native, who arrived this year to London on a £57.6 million move from Germany's Borussia-Dortmund.
However, as we all remember, the attacking MF had his coming out party in the October road win over Burnley. His hat trick is still talked about, and for good reason. That game alone reminded us all why Chelsea made him a priority signing.
That's the Pulisic Chelsea loves to see. In the highlights, you see the pace, his knack to get to the ball and strong finishing ability. On the year, he's got five goals and two assists in his 16 Premier League appearances (12 starts).
"It's been a really fun season for me, it's been awesome," Pulisic said in a recent interview with the Chelsea team site. "It's been a big change for me coming to Chelsea and having to get to know a whole new team, a new league and stuff.
"I've been really proud of the guys and although we've had our tough moments, I think overall we've been pretty solid. I love playing with my teammates and we've had so many exciting games."
Now that he's close to 100 percent in recovering from his adductor injury, Pulisic is chomping at the bit to get back on the field and make plays with his teammates. While we don't know exactly when that be, No. 23 will be ready to go.
And he'll be focused on regaining his strong form, while silencing all his doubters and haters in the process.
